Ce week-end 3 organisations régionales célèbrent la Journée Internationale de Sensibilisation aux Vautours : Association “Les Amis des Oiseaux” (AAO) en Tunisie, GREPOM BirdLife Morocco au Maroc, et Tunisia Wildlife Conservation Society (TWCS) en Tunisie (TWCS était la première association à célébrer l’événement depuis 2012). Le pays avec plus de vautours que les autres, l’Algérie, ne participe pas (pour l’instant).
Looking at the International Vulture Awareness Day website, we can see that three regional organisations are celebrating the event this weekend (open the link and search, Algeria, Morocco, Libya and Tunisia and see for yourself):
– Association “Les Amis des Oiseaux” (AAO) – BirdLife in Tunisia,
– Tunisia Wildlife Conservation Society (TWCS) which was the first organisation to celebrate the International Vulture Awerness Day (IVAD) in Tunisia and in the whole North-west Africa since 2012 and are continuing to do so this year.
The country with more vultures than the others, Algeria, is not participating (so far).
